Schedule: 24-hour in-house coverage Dedicated Hospitalist Role
- Full-time dedicated OB/GYN Hospitalist position
- High-volume practice with approximately 80 deliveries/month
- 24-hour in-house coverage for Labor & Delivery, OB/GYN triage, and ER calls as needed
- No separate physician call expected

- Provide comprehensive hospital support for OB & GYN patients in a busy inpatient setting
- Manage approximately 80 deliveries per month
- Collaborate with a community healthcare partner ( FQHC ) and midwives
- Serve as a regional referral resource for GYN patients
- Daily rounding on post-operative and postpartum patients
- Work within a multidisciplinary team including:
- Anesthesia
- NICU
- Midwives
- Hospital and community healthcare providers
- Collaborative care model focused on patient safety and community health

- MD or DO
- Board Certified in OB/GYN Required
- Active Iowa medical license or willingness to obtain
- NPDB Self-Query Report pulled within 30 days
- Clean malpractice history strongly preferred
- Candidates must have U.S. Board Certification
- Malpractice history must not include cases requiring probate or ongoing supervision
