Clinical Responsibilities
  • Provide OB hospitalist coverage
  • Provide emergency GYN coverage
  • Perform first assist when needed
  • First assist support available
  • No circumcision responsibilities
  • No backup responsibilities for midwives
  • No backup responsibilities for family practice providers
Call & Support Structure
  • Backup available through OB/GYN ED call
  • In-house anesthesia available
  • MFM support onsite
Patient Volume
  • Average total hospital deliveries: 283 per month
  • Estimated hospitalist deliveries: 8 per month
  • Estimated hospitalist patient encounters: 334 per month
