A health services network in New York City is actively seeking a licensed Physician Assistant (PA) to join their Women's Health team in Manhattan, providing direct patient care for women presenting with a variety of gynecologic and women's health concerns.
Responsibilities:
- Obtain patient histories, perform assessments, and assist with examinations
- Assist with diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient follow-up
- Support the physician with day-to-day clinical and patient care responsibilities
- Assist with laboratory work, results, follow-up, and other clinical tasks
- Help keep the physician organized and on track with clinical responsibilities
- Assist with procedures and diagnostic services as appropriate
- Educate patients regarding their health, treatment options, and care plans
- Coordinate follow-up care and communicate with patients regarding results and next steps
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- NCCPA certified
- New York State PA license or eligibility for NY licensure
- Strong interest in Women's Health / OB-GYN
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative clinical environment
