Practice Info
- Join a group of 14 physicians at Sanford Women's Health.
- Support staff includes Genetic Counselors, CNPs, PAs, Certified Nurse Midwives, and Psychology.
- Supportive specialties include one Gyn/Onc physician, three MFM physicians, two REI physicians, and one Uro Gyn physician.
- Laborist Model with 24-hour in-house coverage of all partners' patients.
Responsibilities
- Perform history and physical examination.
- Admit, evaluate, diagnose, consult, and provide pre-, intra-, and postoperative care necessary to correct or treat female patients of all ages presenting with injuries and disorders of the female reproductive system and the genitourinary system.
- Provide nonsurgical treatment for disorders and injuries of the mammary glands.
- Rotate 1:14 through an average of 3-4 times per month as the Laborist.

Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. degree.
- Successful completion of an Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency program accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada.
- Certification in the primary area of practice by the appropriate specialty/subspecialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable.
- If not board certified at the time of application but completed residency within the last five years, must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of residency training.
- Experience can be demonstrated by providing residency procedure log and a list of completed rotations (for recent graduates).
- Experience can be demonstrated by providing a quality profile from hospital(s) where currently has privileges showing clinical activity for the last 12 months, including numbers of procedures, morbidity, mortality, infection rates, and other complications (for applicants not directly out of residency).
- Ability to demonstrate competence and adequate volumes of experience to include 50 deliveries (including 5 cesarean sections) and 25 gynecological surgical procedures (if applicable to privileges requested) in the last 12 months.
