Obstetrician/Gynecologist

Putnam Hospital Center of Northwell Health is seeking a full-time Obstetrician/Gynecologist to join their established network of providers. This generalist position involves a mix of office/surgery days and a 1 in 4 call schedule. The role offers an opportunity to practice in a community hospital setting with a focus on quality patient care.

Practice Info

• 165-bed community hospital
• Labor and Delivery Unit sees about 360 babies born each year
• Staff of more than 300 physicians
• Offers medical, surgical, psychiatric, oncology, pediatric, orthopedic, obstetrical/gynecological, and intensive care
• Provides 24-hour emergency services and home health care

Compensation

• Salary Range: $375,000 - $500,000, relative to experience
• Sign-On Bonus
• Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125K to $750K, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience and productivity

Shift & Schedule

• 3 office/surgery days per week
• 1 in 4 call schedule (sharing amongst 4 physicians)
• Call schedule is one week day per week and every fourth Friday-Sunday
• Call may be taken from home but the provider must be within 30 minutes driving distance to the hospital
