Sanford Health is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified OB/GYN physician to join their Women's team at Sanford Clinic Worthington. This role involves providing a full scope of OB/GYN services within a supportive environment, benefiting from a skilled nursing team and additional specialists. - Join a Women's team of 3 OB/GYN's and 1 Nurse Midwife.
- Practice includes a skilled nursing team, community health worker, and lactation specialist.
- 1:4 Call.
- Robust hospital surgical department.
- Full complement of supportive physicians and Advanced Practice Providers in Family Practice, Pediatrics, Orthopedic Surgery, General Surgery, Oncology, Emergency Medicine and Hospitalist.
- Maternal Fetal Medicine support from Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls.
Responsibilities
- Provide a full scope of OB/GYN services to the region.
- Perform history and physical examination.
- Admit (if applicable to the setting), evaluate, diagnose, consult and provide pre-, intra- and postoperative care necessary to correct or treat female patients of all ages presenting with injuries and disorders of the female reproductive system and the genitourinary system.
- Provide nonsurgical treatment for disorders and injuries of the mammary glands.
Compensation
- Nationally competitive compensation plan.
- Annual compensation floor range (based on 1.0 FTE): $347,358 - $449,522 plus estimated potential to exceed compensation floor from personally performed wRVUs.

Requirements
- BE/BC OB/GYN physician.
- M.D. or D.O. degree.
- Successful completion of an Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency program accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada.
- Certification in the primary area of practice by the appropriate specialty/subspecialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable.
- If not board certified at the time of application but completed residency within the last five years, must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of residency training.
- Experience can be demonstrated by providing residency procedure log and a list of completed rotations (for recent graduates).
- Experience can be demonstrated by providing a quality profile from hospital(s) showing clinical activity for the last 12 months, including numbers of procedures, morbidity, mortality, infection rates and other complications (for applicants not directly out of residency).
- Must be able to demonstrate competence and adequate volumes of experience to include 50 deliveries (including 5 cesarean sections) and 25 gynecological surgical procedures in the last 12 months (if applicable to privileges requested).
