Obstetrician/Gynecologist

This 63-bed on-site facility in Maine is seeking an OB/GYN for locum tenens coverage starting in November and ongoing. The provider will deliver full-scope obstetric and gynecologic care across inpatient, outpatient, and clinic settings, handling an estimated 250 deliveries per year. Clinicians can expect day shifts with night beeper call and a patient volume of 10-15 patients per day in the clinic.

• 63-bed on-site facility holding a Level II trauma designation
• Provides full scope obstetric and gynecologic services across inpatient, outpatient, and clinic settings
• Maintains 2 labor and delivery rooms, 5 postpartum rooms, and 7 maternal/child private rooms
• Support staff includes 2 permanent OBGYNs, CNMs, and anesthesia on-call
• Adult patient population
• Case load/PPD: 10-15 patients per day (clinic); approximately 250 deliveries per year

Responsibilities

• Provide full scope obstetric and gynecologic coverage across inpatient, outpatient, and clinic settings
• Perform vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and GYN surgeries
• Assume supervisory responsibilities over CNMs when needed
