Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

Desert Regional Medical Center and Desert Care Network Primary and Specialty Care are seeking a dedicated OB/GYN to join their growing women's health program in Palm Springs, CA. This employed position offers a unique opportunity to help build a new practice with robust health system support and access to advanced robotic technology. The role involves providing a blend of obstetric and gynecologic care within a traditional OB/GYN practice setting, serving a community with high demand for women's health services.

• Dedicated support team including medical assistants and front-end/back-end operational staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide obstetric and gynecologic care in a traditional OB/GYN practice setting.
• Build a robust patient panel in a rapidly growing market.
• Perform a full spectrum of OB/GYN procedures.
• Utilize advanced Da Vinci Xi and Da Vinci X robotic surgical systems for minimally invasive gynecologic procedures.
• Collaborate with and mentor Family Medicine residents who may shadow in clinic settings.

Compensation

• Competitive compensation ranging from $310,000 to $450,000 annually, based on experience, training, and qualifications.

Shift & Schedule

• Monday through Friday schedule, approximately 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Average clinic volume of 15+ patients per day, with significant growth potential.
• Call responsibilities limited primarily to your own patients.
• No mandatory hospital call requirement; optional additional call opportunities may be available through JFK Memorial Hospital if desired.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Eligible for unrestricted California medical licensure.
• Strong commitment to providing high-quality obstetric and gynecologic care.
• Interest in helping grow and shape a newly established women's health practice.
• Comfort performing a full spectrum of OB/GYN procedures.
• Ability to obtain medical staff privileges at Desert Regional Medical Center.
• Fellowship training welcomed; board-certified candidates preferred.
• Interest in minimally invasive and robotic-assisted gynecologic surgery preferred.
