A Long Island-based health services network is seeking a licensed OB/GYN for a great opportunity at one of its facilities in Suffolk County. This role offers the chance to provide comprehensive women's health care within a growing, patient-focused health system and to contribute to a broad range of gynecologic and obstetric services.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day shift
- Schedule: Monday through Friday with after-hours and weekend call coverage
- Hours: Standard business
- Setting: In-person, outpatient and hospital-based
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care in accordance with accepted standards of practice
- Perform outpatient assessments, inpatient care, and major operative procedures
- Participate in after-hours and weekend on-call coverage
- Teach and mentor fellows, residents, and medical students through academic and educational activities
- Support clinical trials, quality initiatives, and performance improvement efforts
Qualifications:
- Licensed MD or DO in New York State
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN
- Strong clinical background in evaluation and management
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
