Job Summary and Responsibilities

Patient Care:

  • Diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.

Diagnostic Procedures:

  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging.
  • Perform procedures as needed.
  • Collaborate with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation.

Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
  • Provide consultative services to other healthcare providers.

Quality Improvement:

  • Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
  • Review and analyze clinical outcomes for continuous improvement.
  • Implement changes to enhance patient care and safety.

Compliance:

  • Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice.
  • Stay informed about healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Participate in quality audits to ensure adherence to standards.

Continuous Learning:

  • Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines.

Job Requirements

  • A valid and unrestricted California medical license
  • Board eligible or board certified in specified area of medical specialty (ABMS or AOA)
  • Completion of an accredited post‑graduate training program

Woodland Clinic Medical Group (WCMG) is a multi‑specialty group with more than 150+ providers in the Woodland, CA area. The group has been providing exceptional care to the residents of Woodland, Davis, and the surrounding communities since 1911. WCMG is affiliated with Dignity Health / CommonSpirit, one of the largest integrated health systems in the nation. The Medical Group is seeking an OB‑GYN physician to join a team of 4 OB‑GYNs and 4 APPs. The incoming OB‑GYN would be joining a well‑established department that provides full‑scope community obstetrics and gynecology services at one clinic location and the adjacent community hospital.
