Clinical Responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient obstetric and gynecologic care.
  • Participate in group-based OB call coverage with 24-hour shifts.
  • Manage Labor & Delivery, postpartum care, ER consults, and emergent gynecologic surgeries while on call.
  • Perform gynecologic surgeries including hysteroscopy, laparoscopy, and hysterectomy.
  • OR block time.

Call Schedule

Call is shared equally among physicians in a group model. The on-call physician is responsible for all inpatient OB/GYN care during the 24-hour call period.

Technology & Ancillary Services

Office-Based Resources

  • Non-stress testing (NST)
  • Colposcopy
  • Ultrasound
  • Robust Maternal‑Fetal Medicine (MFM) collaboration, including ultrasound reads and high‑risk consults.

Hospital-Based Resources

  • DaVinci robotic surgical system.
  • 24‑hour in‑house anesthesia.
  • Advanced critical care and interventional radiology support.
  • Level III NICU with strong neonatal and maternal support.
  • Robust Maternal‑Fetal Medicine (MFM) collaboration, including ultrasound reads and high‑risk consults.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Eligible for Virginia medical licensure and DEA certification.
  • Open to experienced physicians and recent residency graduates.
  • Team-oriented, collaborative approach to care.
  • Passion for women's health and interest in building long-term community relationships.

The base compensation range for this role is $356,790 - $484,770 for a 1.0 clinical FTE status. Individual compensation will be determined by fair market value and the selected candidate's qualifications, clinical experience, specialty training, credentials, and/or education. Please note that the pay range does not include any applicable incentive compensation programs, such as productivity, quality, non-productivity, or other incentives that may be available for eligible positions.
