Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking an experienced OB Hospitalist to join a high-acuity, high-autonomy practice in Spokane, WA. Practice Info

  • High-acuity OB Hospitalist practice
  • Work within MultiCare Deaconess Hospital, servicing 1800 deliveries annually with a Level III NICU
  • Pediatrix OB Hospitalist team manages about 20% of total deliveries
  • Fully inpatient role with consistent exposure to complex, high-risk obstetric cases
  • High-volume transport-in center serving Spokane and surrounding communities
  • 5 physician hospitalist team with a collaborative culture and strong subspecialty support

Responsibilities

  • Manage complex obstetric care
  • Manage OB ED
  • Manage labor and emergencies
  • Assist providers as needed
  • Provide 24/7 OB Hospitalist coverage
  • Manage unassigned and high-risk patients, including Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) patients

Compensation

  • Starting Pay Range (Base Pay): $160/hr

Shift & Schedule

  • Regular full-time is classified as team members who are consistently scheduled and work 30 hours or more on a weekly basis

Requirements

  • Experienced OB Hospitalist
  • Open to part-time or full-time seeking candidates
  • Comfortable practicing independently in a solo coverage model
  • Strong procedural skillset and confidence in acute care scenarios
  • BE/BC in OB/GYN
  • Ideal for experienced physicians, confident in independent clinical decision making
