About this role
As an OB/GYN Hospitalist with Intermountain Health, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience.
- You will provide care through restricted OB/GYN hospitalist shifts at St Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, Montana.
- Primarily spending your time in Labor & Delivery, you will also provide care in the ED supporting patients that have obstetric or gynecology needs.
- Anesthesia in house and available 24/7
- MFM clinic onsite and available 24/7 for telehealth consult.
- St Vincent is a large regional referral center, that welcomes an average of 1,800 deliveries annually. With a level III NICU, we provide care to patients at all levels of acuity and lengths of gestation. We are a designated Baby-Friendly Hospital, ranking in the top 3% of hospitals for Obstetrics and top 1% for Women's Services by Women\'s Choice Awards Best Hospitals 2025. We are excited to be relocating to a newly built hospital facility in 2029.
How we'll support you
- You'll be paid an annual salary of $337,680.00 , based on the expectation of working 180 12-hour shifts per year. Shifts can often be stacked and taken in 24-hour increments. While not required, additional income is available through excess hospitalist and clinic shifts.
- You will receive a starting bonus of $25,000.00 , and relocation assistance up to $20,000.00 .
- Eligible for up to $100,000.00 in student loan assistance.

What you'll bring
- MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
- ACGME accredited residency training in OBGYN
- Board certification or eligibility in OBGYN
- Active, unobstructed Montana medical license, or the ability to obtain one
- Federal DEA Registration
- BLS certification
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process
