Staff MD OB/GYN OpportunityBrattleboro Memorial Hospital is seeking a full-time Staff MD OB/GYN to join its hospital-owned Four Seasons OB/GYN practice in Brattleboro, Vermont, offering full-spectrum women's health care in a collaborative, physician-respected, community-based environment with flexible scheduling and excellent quality of life.The Staff OB/GYN Physician will:Provide full-spectrum obstetrics and gynecology care to a diverse community patient populationManage gynecologic consults referred from surrounding primary care providers and in-house midwivesPerform a variety of office-based gynecologic proceduresMaintain a steady surgical volume with access to three new operating roomsParticipate in minimally invasive and advanced laparoscopic surgeriesWork 3–4 clinic days per week, seeing approximately 12–14 patients per dayUtilize an average of three dedicated OR days per monthProvide physician backup for midwife-led obstetric care, including uncomplicated deliveriesParticipate in manageable home call shared among physicians (1 in 4 rotation)Support a birth center offering VBACs, water birth, nitrous oxide, and 24-hour epidural servicesCollaborate within a multidisciplinary team of physicians, certified nurse midwives, nurse practitioners, nurses, and medical assistantsPractice evidence-based OB/GYN care in a state with constitutional protection of reproductive rightsEngage in a long-standing, stable practice with very low staff and physician turnoverNot open to candidates who commute more than 1 hourNot accepting visa candidatesNot open to LOCUM or LOCUM to PERM candidatesNot open to candidates who plan to work this job in conjunction with another positionCompensation Benefits:Salary Range: $280,000 – $360,000 annually, based on experience and internal equityAdditional call compensation for extra call beyond scheduled rotationBenefits Package Includes:Full medical benefitsGenerous vacation and holiday payCME allowancePension planPossible student loan repayment through the State of VermontFlexible scheduling supporting work-life balancePractice autonomy with collaborative hospital administrationAt-will employment statusCertification Requirements:Board CertifiedBoard EligibleState License Requirements:VermontAdditional License Requirements:MD or DO degree, Completion of an ACGME-accredited OB/GYN residency program in the United States or CanadaClient Details State VT
