Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician OpportunityBJC Medical Group Sullivan Clinic is seeking a compassionate, Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician to join an established, collaborative team at Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital—offering state-of-the-art facilities, advanced surgical technology, and a supportive community just an hour from St. Louis, Missouri.Job responsibilities include:Providing comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology care to patients across outpatient clinics and inpatient hospital settings, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based medical services.Managing a diverse patient panel by diagnosing, treating, and following up on various women's health issues, including prenatal, delivery, postnatal care, gynecological surgeries, and preventative care.Conducting inpatient hospital rounds regularly or coordinating care coverage with hospitalists to ensure continuity of care for hospitalized patients.Collaborating closely with an experienced multidisciplinary team, including primary care providers, pediatricians, CRNAs, advanced practice providers, and specialty consultants from St. Louis Children's Hospital to deliver integrated patient-centered care.Utilizing state-of-the-art procedural rooms equipped for ultrasound, colposcopy, and urodynamics, while taking advantage of new advanced surgical technology such as the hospital's recently acquired robot-assisted surgical system.Participating in a shared call schedule to provide after-hours support, maintaining responsiveness to patient needs while balancing work-life demands.Documenting thoroughly and accurately all medical histories, physical exams, consultations, procedures, and treatment plans in compliance with hospital medical staff bylaws and legal requirements.Leading and mentoring advanced practice providers and support staff within the clinical team, fostering a collaborative environment focused on professional development and quality patient care.Engaging in continuous education and professional growth opportunities, using CME allowance and dedicated professional development time provided.Adhering strictly to all BJC policies, procedures, and safety protocols, maintaining a constant state of alertness due to the safety-sensitive nature of the role.Participating in hospital outreach efforts as needed, supporting patient care in additional clinical locations affiliated with BJC Medical Group.Contributing to quality improvement initiatives within the department and hospital, helping maintain the high standards of the Labor & Delivery unit recognized for top-quality scores.Serving a community-focused role at a critical access hospital that offers comprehensive healthcare services, including emergency care, cardiac rehab, cancer care, wound care with hyperbaric chambers, and rehabilitation services—making a meaningful impact in a rural and underserved area.Certification requirements include:Board CertifiedBoard EligibleState license requirements:MissouriAdditional license requirements:Board Eligible or Board Certified in OBGYN, DEA, CSR/CDSVisa sponsorship available for J1 or H1B candidates.
