Obesity Medicine Physician

To support a growing virtual obesity medicine clinic, the fully remote Obesity Medicine Physician will provide direct patient care focused on evidence-based obesity treatment, manage patient charts, and collaborate with advanced practice providers while maintaining flexible scheduling options of 32 to 40 hours per week. Key responsibilities Provide direct patient care in a clinical setting, focusing on evidence-based obesity treatment and chronic weight management Review charts and conduct visits for patients to ensure quality and continuity of care Participate in team-based care initiatives and contribute to quality improvement efforts within the obesity medicine program Required qualifications MD or DO degree with valid and current Board Certification in Obesity Medicine by the American Board of Obesity Medicine (ABOM) Active and unrestricted Medical State License in any US State, with eligibility to obtain additional state licenses A minimum of 2 years as an attending physician in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Obesity Medicine, or completion of an accredited Fellowship program in Obesity Medicine Demonstrated clinical experience in obesity medicine and pharmacotherapy Experience providing synchronous patient care in a telehealth setting is preferred
