OB Nurse ManagerWe are seeking an experienced OB Nurse Manager to provide clinical leadership and oversee daily operations of the Obstetrics department while ensuring safe, high-quality care for mothers and newborns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily OB nursing operations, staffing, scheduling, and patient flow.
- Supervise, support, and evaluate nursing staff while promoting professional development.
- Monitor maternal and fetal care, clinical outcomes, documentation, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, patient safety standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
- Respond to complex obstetric situations and support staff during emergencies.
- Manage departmental resources, supplies, and staffing needs.
- Track department performance and communicate updates and concerns to leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Current RN license in the applicable state.
- Previous Labor & Delivery, Obstetrics, and nursing leadership/management experience required.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications; NRP preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment, leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
