We are seeking an experienced Physician specializing in OB Laborist for an impactful 48-day assignment in Pennsylvania. This role involves a demanding schedule of Thursday 7am to Monday 7am, including 24-hour out-of-house call. The physician will primarily manage deliveries and provide comprehensive obstetrical care.
Practice Info
- EMR: Meditech EHR/Expanse
- Setting: Inpatient
- Patient Volume: 0-5 patients per day, averaging 2-3
- Staffing Mix: APPs, MAs, Nursing staff, CRNA/ANS
Responsibilities
- Provide 24-hour call coverage from Thursday 7am to Monday 7am
- Manage approximately 17 shifts per month
- Oversee deliveries and comprehensive obstetrical care
- Address rare DCNEs and CHISTs when necessary
- Manage a Level 1 nursery and facilitate transfers for high-risk patients
