Sutter East Bay Medical Group (SEBMG) is seeking a full-time OB hospitalist physician to join a collaborative team at Alta Bates Summit Medical Center. This role involves providing compassionate, evidence-based care to high-risk and community clinic patients. The hospital is a referral center for high-risk obstetrics, delivering approximately 5,000 babies annually.

- Features 24 LDRP rooms, 3 ORs on labor and delivery, an 8-bed OB Triage, and a 14-bed Antepartum Unit with affiliated MFM co-management
- Equipped with a 55-bed Level III NICU with in-house neonatologists
- Advanced practice nurses specialized in newborn evaluation and resuscitation attend deliveries
- Two in-house OB anesthesiologists and a full electronic medical record system with remote fetal heart rate monitoring
- Two hospitalists and one midwife are in-house 24/7, with a back-up hospitalist also available
Responsibilities
- Delivery attendance
- OB triage
- Patient evaluation and management
- Surgical and OB delivery assists
- Fetal monitoring
- ED coverage for OB patients
- Working closely with on-site midwife
- Collaborating with local obstetricians and midwives who deliver at Alta Bates
Compensation
- $186.22 - $205.78 /Hr.
- Competitive compensation with income guarantee
- Residency Stipend of $1,000 per month for residents who commit to hire for a maximum of 12 months
