AdventHealth Tampa is seeking 8 experienced OB/Hospitalists to join their Academic OB/GYN Residency Program. This role involves providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care in a hospital setting, ensuring high-quality, round-the-clock patient care, and actively participating in the Graduate Medical Education (GME) program by mentoring and supervising OB/GYN residents. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care in a hospital setting
- Manage labor and delivery
- Respond to obstetric emergencies
- Perform deliveries and surgical procedures
- Collaborate with nurses and other specialists to optimize patient outcomes
- Provide consultative services
- Support emergency department evaluations
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives
- Mentor and supervise OB/GYN residents, providing hands-on training and overseeing clinical decision-making

Shift & Schedule
- Flexible schedules will include fourteen 12-hour shifts OR seven 24-hour shifts per month
Requirements
- Current medical license (M.D. or D.O.)
- Board certification or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Certification in adult and neonatal resuscitation
- 5 years minimum of Labor and Delivery experience
- Proficiency with hospital EMR systems
