Locum Tenens Obstetrics & Gynecology physician opportunity at a full-service acute care hospital in Petersburg, Virginia. Clinicians will provide clinic-based obstetric and gynecologic coverage with 24-hour call responsibilities on specific dates in December. The role involves managing approximately 20 patients per session, handling emergencies, and performing various procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinic-based obstetric and gynecologic coverage with 24-hour call responsibilities (7:00 AM - 7:00 AM) on an on-site basis
• See approximately 20 patients per clinic session
• Manage obstetric and gynecologic emergencies as needed
• Perform vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and suction D&Cs
• Provide treatment for ectopic pregnancies, ovarian torsion, and abnormal bleeding

• Call coverage structured at a 1:4 rotation with minimal expected callbacks

Qualifications

• Board certification required
• Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required
• Prescriptive authority required
