OB/GYN - System Medical Director - Ambulatory Services

The Mount Sinai Health System is seeking an Obstetrics and Gynecology System Medical Director for Ambulatory Services at Mount Sinai Hospital. This role involves partnering with the world-renowned Icahn School of Medicine, focusing on an integrative approach to patient care, research, and education within the OB/GYN Division. The successful candidate will contribute to a nationally ranked medical institution known for excellence in clinical care and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Compliance with NYS Prenatal Care Regulations.
• Ensure compliance with Medicare Teaching Physicians rules (TPR) related to the supervisory role of the attending for all teaching cases.
• Work with Ambulatory Care Medical Directors to ensure full alignment of Obstetrical Care provided to patients across every site in our OBGYN Health System.
• Oversee and manage Performance Improvement program including metrics for Quality Improvement.
• Oversee and ensure adherence to scope of practice guidelines and competency metrics for all obstetrical providers including: Physicians, Midwives, Physician Assistants, and Nurse Practitioners.
• Partner with residency program directors and fellowship program directors to ensure that all educational goals and metrics are met.
• Provide medical care in high-functioning environment.

Compensation

• Compensation range from $310,000 to $367,000 (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits).

Requirements

• Medical Degree from an Accredited University.
• New York Medical License.
• Board Certified in OB/GYN.
