Responsibilities

  • Provide general gynecological care of women.
  • Provide care related to pregnancy and the reproductive system.
  • Focus on ailments specific to the female anatomy, such as breast and cervical cancer, urinary tract and pelvic disorders, and hormonal disorders.
  • Specialize in childbirth, treating and counseling women throughout their pregnancy, from giving prenatal diagnoses, to delivery, and postpartum care.
  • Span the adult lifetime of woman’s care, meeting both her medical and surgical needs.
  • Practice at the highest ethical standards.

Compensation

  • Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $278,500 to $484,500.
  • Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved training program from an accredited medical school, residency or fellowship program upon hire
  • Licensed in the state of Texas
  • Board Certified and/or Board eligible
  • Must have completed residency and practicing or be in residency when applying
