OB/GYN Physician

Presbyterian Healthcare Services is seeking a passionate and dedicated OB/GYN physician to join their full-scope practice in Socorro, New Mexico. This role involves providing comprehensive women's healthcare, from routine exams to pregnancy and childbirth monitoring. • Full scope practice located in New Mexico
• Part of Presbyterian's Regional Delivery System, a network of six hospitals and medical centers throughout rural New Mexico
• Regional facilities are home to more than 1,600 clinical and non-clinical employees
• Offers a variety of services ranging from general surgery to pediatrics to heart and cancer care

Responsibilities

• Meet with new patients to assess symptoms, needs, and/or problems
• Perform routine exams and check ups based on best practices
• Conduct follow-ups with patients to monitor and track their condition
• Monitor and treat patients during pregnancy and childbirth
• Participate in call rotation
• Makes all professional medical judgments in the care of patients seen
• Manages and oversees the physician/patient relationship
• Participates in system-wide health management initiatives

Requirements

• Board-eligible or certified in OB/GYN
• State of New Mexico Medical License
