Practice Info

• Practice involves working in cooperation with other members of the department clinical staff and interdisciplinary teams.
• Position requires traveling throughout and between facilities.
• Position involves the handling of hazardous drugs and/or hazardous drug contaminated products and contact with patients who may receive hazardous drugs.

Responsibilities

• Examine the health of a patient to help make proper diagnosis of clinical conditions and prescribing medication, treatments, and follow-up care as required.
• Prescribes pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens to treat identified and documented medical conditions.
• Provide care directly and indirectly by working with other members of an interdisciplinary team to formulate treatment plans.
• Timely record patient encounters in Electronic Health Record.
• Request further medical evaluations and make referrals, as necessary.
• Understand and commit to the highest standards of professionalism; willingness to hold others to those standards.
• Commit to collaboration with all members of the department to provide quality patient care.
• Ensure accurate coding of all patient visits.

Qualifications

• Board certified or eligible for certification in physician's primary specialty.
• Licensed Practicing Provider.
• MD/DO.
• Credentialed and willing to maintain clinical practice.
• Comply with policies, procedures, bylaws, processes of privileging/credentialing, and standards of care.
• Comply with the employer's Compliance & Privacy Program and Standards of Conduct, including the immediate reporting of any known or suspected unethical or questionable behaviors.
• Light work physical demands, requiring exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently.
• Must be able to travel throughout and between facilities.
• Individuals who reside in and will work from Colorado, California, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Washington, and Washington D.C. are not eligible for remote work positions.
