OB/GYN Physician

SOMC OB/GYN Associates is seeking a dedicated provider for a 2-year contract opportunity located in Portsmouth, Ohio. The role involves managing a high-volume clinic with an average caseload of 25 patients per day alongside office and hospital procedures. • Practice Location SOMC OB/GYN Associates - 1735 27th Street, Waller Bldg, Suite 202, Portsmouth, OH 45662
• Staffing includes Chief of OB/GYN, physicians, NPs, CNMs, and PAs with APPs also located in Waverly, West Union, Ironton, and Vanceburg, supported by 1 nurse chaperone per provider and 1 Office Manager
• Case load averages 25 patients/day and 4-6 hospital procedures/day
• Office procedures include Colposcopy, IUD insertion and removals, and Biopsies
• Hospital procedures include DX Laparoscopy, Hysterectomy, D&C, Ablations, Tubal Ligations, Cesareans, and Intuitive DaVinci Robot utilization
• Practice expectations require working as a team player in a high volume clinic with advanced practitioners also servicing Waverly and West Union locations

Compensation

• Bonus incentives: excellent bonus incentives up to 10% of salary
• Sign on bonus: 15% of base salary up to $100,000 (paid when contract signed and forgiven over 2-4 years)

• Vacation: 29 PTO (paid time off) days, with an additional 5 days PTO when producing 75%tile wRVUs
• CME/Books & Journals: 5 days PTO and up to $5000
• Deferred compensation: 457b plan allowing deferral up to IRS limit of $24,500 year before taxes with no matching
• Retirement / Savings Plan: 403b plan allowing deferral up to IRS limit of $24,500 year before taxes under age 50 and $31,000 for over age 50, with SOMC matching dollar for dollar up to 2% of base pay
• Moving Expense: $10,000 paid to moving company
• Malpractice Insurance Coverage: claims made insurance in an amount of $2,000,000 per claim/$6,000,000 aggregate
• Health Insurance: physician pays small premium, deducted from paycheck
• CERP (Pay for Call) Program
• Medical School Loan Repayment: repay up to $200,000 ($25,000 per year for each year of service commitment)
• Residency Stipend: up to $25,000 (requires up to 2 year service commitment)

Shift & Schedule

• 2-year contract
• Monday - Thursday 8:00a - 5:00p / Friday 8:00a - 12:00p
• Call for your own patients throughout the week until 5:00p
• 1:5 call along with circumcisions in the nursery

• 70 mile and 2 year non-compete clause or liquidated damages of one year salary
