Jackson and Coker is seeking an OB/GYN Physician for a locum tenens opportunity in Ohio, providing call coverage at a community hospital. This role involves immediate coverage with potential for ongoing PRN call, focusing on inpatient rounding and emergency procedures. The position offers a chance to support staffing needs while maintaining privileges.

- Approximately 90% Obstetrics / 10% Gynecology
- High-risk pregnancies co-managed with Maternal Fetal Medicine
- Maternal Fetal Medicine support available
- Level III Trauma Center
Responsibilities
- Provide 24-hour beeper call coverage
- Perform daily inpatient rounding on postpartum patients
- Handle approximately 7–10 callbacks during the week (average 1–2 per day)
- Execute full-scope OB/GYN duties, including C-sections
- Manage urgent GYN procedures such as ectopic pregnancy surgery, ovarian torsion surgery, suction D&C, emergency hysterectomy for hemorrhage control, and abscess removal

Shift & Schedule
- August 17 at 7:00 AM – August 23 at 7:00 AM
- 24-hour beeper call only (no clinic responsibilities)
- Weekend coverage required
- Estimated 14–20 hours of callback time over the assignment
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- C-sections required
- VBAC experience welcomed but not required
