OB/GYN Physician – Obstetric Care

Overview

A well-respected, thriving multi-physician women's healthcare practice in Birmingham, Alabama is seeking a dedicated OB/GYN Physician to join its collaborative team. This role offers the chance to provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care within a supportive, technology-forward practice affiliated with a hospital offering advanced maternal and newborn support.

What you'll do

• Provide a balanced mix of obstetric and gynecologic clinical care
• Collaborate with a team of 11 physicians, including specialists in urogynecology and pelvic pain
• Participate in a 1:6 call schedule supported by a double coverage system and OB hospitalists
• Utilize state-of-the-art facilities, including a new breast CT scanner, onsite mammography, and surgical robotics
• Deliver care in partnership with an affiliated hospital featuring a Level III NICU
• Engage in regular team meetings focused on clinical excellence, mentorship, and collaboration

Required qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology (including candidates completing OB/GYN residency in 2026 or 2027)
• Valid state medical license
