The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Science of the Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) is seeking established OB/GYN practices for acquisition, employment, strategic affiliation, or hospital-based delivery partnerships across New York City and the surrounding region. This opportunity allows physicians to maintain high-quality patient care while benefiting from the extensive resources of a leading academic medical center. Physicians joining the faculty practice will become full-time faculty members of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, continuing to care for their established patient populations and participating in the Department's academic mission.
Practice Info
- The Department consists of more than 130 full-time and voluntary board-certified physicians.
- The Department supports a four-year residency training program, an active medical student education program, and a comprehensive academic environment encompassing all OB/GYN subspecialties.
- Mount Sinai is interested in discussing a variety of affiliation models with established OB/GYN practices, including delivering patients at Mount Sinai hospitals while maintaining independent office locations, voluntary faculty appointments, clinical affiliation agreements, co-management and collaborative care arrangements, participation in Mount Sinai's referral and subspecialty networks, and selective integration of administrative, operational, and clinical support services.
- The health system has more than 6,000 deliveries annually.
Responsibilities
- Maintain commitment to high-quality patient care.

- Deliver patients at Mount Sinai hospitals (for practices maintaining independent office locations).
- Participate in resident and medical student education.
- Engage in clinical research and scholarly activities.
Compensation
- Compensation packages are highly competitive and will be tailored based on practice size, historical productivity, collections, specialty expertise, and organizational needs.
- Opportunities for productivity-based incentives and additional leadership compensation may be available.
- Compensation range from $300,000 to $500,000 (not including bonuses, incentive compensation, or benefits).

- Board Certified or Board Eligible Obstetrician-Gynecologists with established practices.
