Our client is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible OB/GYN Physician for weekend clinic coverage with call responsibilities in Iowa. This locum tenens opportunity involves working at a supportive and well-established facility. The role includes managing a variety of OB/GYN procedures and complications, with high-risk cases prior to 36 weeks being referred out.
Practice Info
- Around 300 deliveries per year
- EMR: EPIC
- High risk cases prior to 36 weeks will be sent out
Responsibilities
- Perform vaginal deliveries and C-sections
- Conduct Post-partum tubal ligations
- Manage OB complications, including 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
- Perform LEEP and IUD procedures
