OB/GYN Physician

Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group is seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN physician to join our team at Houston Methodist Willowbrook and serve as core faculty for our Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program. This is an excellent opportunity for an OB/GYN physician who enjoys providing high-quality patient care while working with and mentoring residents. The position is primarily based at the Willowbrook campus and offers a balanced mix of clinical practice, resident supervision, and faculty responsibilities.

• Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital is a not-for-profit, faith-based, 358-bed hospital located in Northwest Houston
• Primarily based at the Willowbrook campus

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive OB/GYN care to patients at Houston Methodist Willowbrook
• Supervise and mentor OB/GYN residents in the clinical setting
• Participate in the residency continuity clinic and provide guidance to residents
• Support resident education through clinical teaching, rounds, and case discussions
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and other program activities
• Work collaboratively with physicians, residents, nurses, and other members of the care team
• Participate in shared OB/GYN call coverage with other Houston Methodist residency faculty and a local private practice OB/GYN

Shift & Schedule

• Full-time
• Call responsibilities include a minimum of one 14-hour weekday call and one 24-hour weekend call per month, shared among the participating physicians
• Work Shift: 1 - Day (United States of America)

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Strong clinical skills and commitment to providing excellent patient care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Collaborative and team-oriented approach
• Previous experience working with residents or medical students is preferred
