Ob/Gyn Physician

The Hospitals of Providence East Campus is seeking a full-scope OB/GYN to join a well-established, high-performing practice in El Paso, TX. This role offers a deeply collaborative environment with one of the largest OB/GYN teams in the region, providing clinical backup and a collegial culture. The position features a balanced schedule with outpatient care, manageable call responsibilities, and opportunities to engage with medical students and residents.

Practice Info

• Full scope OB/GYN practice, including outpatient care and deliveries
• Delivery volume: Approximately 10-15 deliveries per month initially
• Outpatient volume: 30-35 patients per day on non-surgery days
• Team structure: Supported by 19 OB/GYNs, 3 Uro-GYN specialists, and 3 APPs
• Teaching opportunity: Engage with medical students and residents
• Billing & Coding: Handled entirely in-house

Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope OB/GYN care
• Manage outpatient care
• Perform deliveries
• Participate in rotating weekday and weekend call for own clinical patients
• Serve as backup to the OB Hospitalist Group for ER call

Shift & Schedule

• Full Time
• Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
• Call: Rotating weekday and weekend call for own clinical patients; OB Hospitalist Group available for triages; ER call serves as backup to the OB Hospitalist Group - no direct ER call responsibility

Requirements

• MD or DO degree
• Board eligible or board certified in OB/GYN
• Active Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain one
• J-1 or H-1B visa sponsorship available
• Spanish language skills preferred but not required
