This role involves comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, including managing low and high-risk pregnancies, performing various deliveries, and executing both minor and major gynecological surgeries. Practice Info
- Setting: Inpatient
- Patients Per Day: 4-6 in hospital
- Staffing Mix: Hospital staff RNs and MAs, CNM PAs/NPs
Shift & Schedule
- Call Schedule: Out of House Call
- LOA: 10 Days
Responsibilities
- Manage low and high-risk pregnancies
- Interpret FHR, NST, CST, and FSE
- Perform and interpret OB Ultrasounds, including Level I/Screening (viability)
- Execute routine vaginal deliveries
- Make decisions for C-sections
- Perform complicated deliveries, including C-sections, breech, multiple births, and abruptions
- Repair 3rd and 4th-degree lacerations
- Conduct office/minor gynecology procedures such as IUD insertion, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, and LEEP
