An exciting Locum Tenens opportunity is available for an Obstetrics & Gynecology physician in North Carolina starting ASAP on an ongoing basis. The clinician will provide inpatient and full scope obstetric and gynecologic care through 24-hour beeper call assignments. The role involves working independently at an on-site facility utilizing EPIC EMR.
Practice Info
- Utilizes EPIC EMR
- Level I Nursery with no NICU or trauma services
- Womens & Childrens unit includes 16 beds, 9 Labor & Delivery rooms, and 1 dedicated C-section OR within Labor & Delivery
- Anesthesia handles all call coverage responsibilities
- Case load/PPD: 2-3 deliveries/day
- Location type: On-Site
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient and full scope obstetric and gynecologic coverage through 24-hour beeper call assignments at an on-site facility
- Complete all clinical documentation using the EPIC EMR system
- Maintain continuous availability throughout each assigned call period
- Perform C-sections and very minimal GYN surgeries
Shift & Schedule
- Dates needed: ASAP - Ongoing
- Shift type: 24-Hour Call
- Coverage structured at 6-7 shifts per month

- Call coverage is a required component of this assignment
- Function fully independently throughout each designated coverage period
