An exciting Locum Tenens opportunity is available for an Obstetrics & Gynecology physician at a hospital in Kentucky, beginning mid-September on an ongoing basis. The clinician will manage obstetric cases across dedicated units, performing deliveries, C-sections, and specialized procedures for diverse patient populations. Join this Level II trauma center to provide comprehensive care supported by an experienced in-house team.
Practice Info
- Level II trauma center providing comprehensive obstetric services
- Supports upwards of 400 births per month
- Dedicated Labor and Delivery, Antepartum, and mother-baby units
- In-house anesthesia coverage available
- EPIC EMR system
- Adult patient population
Responsibilities
- Manage obstetric cases on Labor and Delivery, Antepartum, and mother-baby units
- Perform C-sections, vaginal deliveries, VBACs, ultrasounds, amniocentesis, and circumcisions for both low risk and high risk patients
Shift & Schedule
- Dates needed: Mid September - Ongoing
- Day Shift;Night Shift
- 12-hour day shifts (8:00 AM - 8:00 PM) and night shifts (8:00 PM - 8:00 AM)
Requirements
- Board certification required
- Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required
- BLS certification
- NRP certification
- ATLS certification
- DEA Certificate
- Minimum of 5 years of experience
