Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking Per Diem Ob/Gyn Hospitalists for their practice in Salinas, CA. This role involves providing 24-hour in-house coverage for OB ED, emergencies, triage, patient evaluation, and management. - Labor and delivery facility has nine private suites
Responsibilities
- Provide OB ED coverage
- Handle emergencies as well as OB triage
- Perform patient evaluation and management
- Conduct surgical assists
- Monitor fetal activity
- Attend a low volume of deliveries for community OBs
- Provide 24-hour in-house coverage
Compensation
- Pediatrix does cover per diem staff travel expenses (round trip flight/rental car or mileage and lodging) for those who reside outside a commutable distance from the practice
- W-2 designated position
- The pay for this position is $170 /hour
