Hartford HealthCare is seeking an outstanding BE/BC OB-GYN to join Hartford Hospital as an OB/GYN Hospitalist. This role provides an opportunity to practice at an 868-bed tertiary academic center and Level 1 Trauma Center alongside nationally respected colleagues. Practice Info
- 868-bed tertiary academic center and flagship hospital for Hartford HealthCare
- Level 1 Trauma Center and a Level 4 NICU
- One of three sites responsible for the training of 40 UConn OB-GYN residents
- Extensive support from OB/GYN subspecialties, including Maternal Fetal Medicine, Urogynecology, Gynecologic Oncology, and Minimally Invasive Gynecology
Responsibilities
- Providing call coverage and L&D support
- Caring for inpatient OB and GYN patients
- Providing OB and GYN consultations on the floor and Emergency Department
- Overseeing residents, fellows, midwives or advanced practice nurses
- Member and leader of the OB Rapid Response Team
- Member of patient safety and quality review committees
- Implementing quality programs and evidence-based medicine

Qualifications
- Board Certified OB/GYN
- 3 years of experience as an attending
- Licensed or eligible to be licensed in the State of Connecticut
