OB/GYN Faculty

The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Science at Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) is seeking full-time faculty to join their faculty practice. Practice Info

• The Department consists of over 130 full-time and voluntary board-certified physicians.
• The Department supports residents in a four-year residency program.
• The Department has an active teaching program for third-year medical students from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
• All OB/Gyn sub-specialties are represented in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Science.

Responsibilities

• Grow their faculty practice.
• Cover and supervise the care of private patients.
• Serve as the attending for residents and midwives (backup).
• Triage emergencies and supervise the care of unregistered patients.
• Directly work with residents and medical students in labor and delivery, the operating room, and inpatient wards for admitted Obstetrical patients as the attending physician.

Compensation

• Compensation range from $300,000 to $330,000 (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits).

Requirements

• Board Certified, experienced Obstetrician.
• Possess clinical abilities as demonstrated through training, education, certification, and experience.
• Strong interpersonal communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Embrace the teaching mission of Mount Sinai West and the MSHS.
• Qualify for an academic appointment to the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
• Must have or be able to obtain a valid New York State Medical License.
