Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the OASIS Coding Specialist will perform 485 and OASIS reviews, assign ICD-10 codes, and ensure high service levels for clients while managing a productivity quota of completed reviews daily. Key responsibilities Perform coding and reviews for OASIS and 485 documentation, meeting established productivity levels Extract clinical information from assessments and medical records, assigning appropriate ICD-10 codes Communicate effectively with agencies and conduct peer audits while providing excellent customer service Required qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing; BSN preferred Minimum of 2 years of home health OASIS/485 review and coding experience Certification in home health coding (HCS-D or BCHH-C) and OASIS (COS-C or HCS-O) Thorough knowledge of EMR systems, coding regulations, and medical terminology Experience in quality assurance (QA) or case management is a plus
