NY Licensed STD Case Manager

To support a growing team, the full-time NY Licensed STD Case Manager will make timely and accurate Short-Term Disability claim decisions, proactively gather relevant information, and maintain exceptional customer service while working in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Make customer-focused STD, SDI, and Absence Management claim decisions by analyzing relevant data and documenting outcomes accurately Provide empathetic customer service, building trust with claimants and employers while anticipating their needs Collaborate with team members to foster a positive work environment and maintain high morale and professionalism Required qualifications High school diploma or equivalent work experience; college degree preferred 3+ years of experience in STD claims preferred Knowledge of STD, SDI, and Absence Management products and relevant regulations preferred Understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and pathology preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required; Claim Vantage experience a plus
