Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize CNC machining programs and toolpaths using Siemens NX CAM.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and design data.
- Apply GD&T standards to support accurate and high-quality machining.
- Select appropriate machine tools, cutting tools, tooling, and machining strategies.
- Collaborate with engineers and machinists to produce quality parts while minimizing cycle time, waste, and machining costs.
- Monitor machining activities and validate that production cycle times align with CAM programming.
- Troubleshoot and optimize CNC programs for various machining operations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders on project status, technical issues, and resolution strategies.
- Prepare required technical protocols, reports, and documentation.
- Support engineering change management activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve machining processes, toolpaths, and overall manufacturing efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in NX CAM programming.
- Strong proficiency in Siemens NX CAM.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Good understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes, tooling, and toolpath optimization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, manufacturing, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to learn new concepts quickly and apply them effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the Medical Device / Medical Manufacturing industry.
- Experience with engineering change management.
- Experience optimizing CNC programs for cycle time, quality, and machining efficiency.
- Strong technical documentation and communication skills.
