Summary

  Perform routine treatment procedures as directed.

  n

  Assists Staff Nurse in complicated treatment procedures.

  n

• n

  Maintain traction supplies including traction cart every shift.

  n
n
• n

  Complete all equipment set up as directed.

  n
n
• n

  Report any changes observed in condition or behavior of patient.

  n
n
• n

  Communicate any patient complaints of pain to patient's nurse, charge nurse or unit coordinator.

• n

  Assist in and, as necessary, accompany patient in the admission, transfer and discharge procedures.

  n
n
• n

  Provide and/or assists with personal care as necessary (i.e. baths, dressing of patients, personal hygiene, etc.)

• n

  Assist with patient care, such as positioning patient, lifting and turning patient with proper body mechanics, applying/utilizing special equipment as necessary and ambulating the patient as directed.

  Under supervision, perform general care activities for patients in isolation.

  56 hours every 2 weeks

  Rotating shifts. Combination of both 8-hour and 12-hour shifts

  Every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays

Pay and Benefits

  Starting pay begins at $19.08 per hour and increases with experience

  Pay range: $19.08 to $25.30 per hour

Qualifications

n
• n

  High School Diploma or GED required.

  n
n
• n

  Certified Nursing Assistant, preferred.

  n
n
• n

  Previous orderly or nurse aide experience preferred.
