Job Description
Travel OR Tech/CST/Sterile Processing Tech is needed for 13 weeks to start ASAP in a facility in Nebraska. Performs sponge, instrument, and needle counts according to policy and procedure. Performs scrubbing duties for surgical procedures. Delivers safe patient care. Assists registered nurse in planning patient care for surgical procedures. Follows standard procedures and aseptic principles of practice for surgical interventions, along with preferences of surgeons. Maintains and cleans instruments/equipment as necessary. Correctly collects and labels specimens per surgeons directions/RN. Identifies, labels, and dispenses medications and solutions safely pertaining to the scrub role.1 year of experience is required. CST and BLS are required. Shifts consist of Monday - Friday, 6:45 am to 3:15 pm, 40 hours per week, 2 call shifts per week 4pm-7pm (3 hours), 3 on call weekends per contract time.
