Now Hiring: Overnight Nurse Supervisor | Queens, NY

SpineSearch is proud to partner with a healthcare system in Queens to recruit an experienced Overnight Nurse Supervisor to join their team!

This is a full-time, hands-on leadership opportunity for an RN with acute care experience who can oversee hospital-wide operations overnight, support nursing staff, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 7:30 PM–8:00 AM, including weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee overnight operations across the entire hospital, including the ED, Labor & Delivery, CCU/ICU, Med-Surg, and Behavioral Health.
• Manage staffing and scheduling, address coverage issues, and ensure safe staffing levels.
• Round throughout the hospital, provide support to staff, and address operational and personnel concerns as they arise.
• Balance multiple competing priorities while exercising sound judgment and critical-thinking skills.
• Recognize when issues require escalation to leadership, including major operational disruptions such as power outages or EMR downtime.
• Provide guidance to nursing staff and help maintain safe, high-quality patient care.

Qualifications:

• Active New York State RN license required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Acute care experience required.
• Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Union experience is a plus.

This is a true boots-on-the-ground leadership role for someone who is comfortable making decisions, addressing challenges in real time, and serving as a resource for staff across the hospital.
