Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations of the Operating Room
- Manage OR scheduling, staffing, productivity, and premium labor utilization
- Ensure efficient surgical case flow and resource allocation
- Monitor quality, safety, and regulatory compliance
- Drive process improvement and supply management initiatives
- Analyze perioperative metrics and operational performance
- Support physician engagement and patient satisfaction
- Maintain AORN standards and best practices for surgical services
Qualifications
- RN license
- Bachelors of Science in Nursing required
- BLS required within 30 days of hire
- 3+ years recent Operating Room experience in an acute care hospital
- 3+ years leadership experience as Charge RN, Supervisor, or OR Manager
- General surgery experience required
- Robotics and orthopedic surgery experience strongly preferred
