Responsibilities
- Perform thorough physical evaluations, review medical histories, and order diagnostic tests that inform care decisions.
- Manage acute and chronic conditions with clinical precision.
- Prescribe medications appropriately and create individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient.
- Educate nursing home patients on preventive care and long‑term wellness, helping them take an active role in maintaining their health.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Master's or doctorate degree in nursing from an accredited program.
- Current Florida nurse practitioner license and certification.
