Overview

An established healthcare provider in the Aiken, SC community is seeking a dynamic and experienced Nursing Director of Behavioral Health to lead its behavioral health nursing department. What you'll do

• Oversee the daily operations of the behavioral health nursing department to ensure effective patient care delivery
• Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance patient care outcomes in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing staff, fostering a supportive and professional environment
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, maintaining a focus on quality improvement
• Manage departmental budgets, resources, and staffing to optimize efficiency and effectiveness
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to design and implement patient-centered care plans

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a behavioral health setting
• Current RN license in the state of South Carolina
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Proven ability to drive change and improve patient care outcomes
• Experience working with diverse patient populations

Preferred qualifications

• At least 5 years in a leadership role preferred
• Master's degree in Nursing or related field preferred
