This role is intended to provide supervision and guidance during clinical rotations in support of the teaching/learning provided in the classroom by nursing program faculty. The collaboration between the CSA and faculty enables a faculty-to-student ratio of 1:15 in accordance with Texas Board of Nursing guidelines.Qualifications:Current, unencumbered RN license in the state of Texas with 1 year of clinical experience. Bachelor's degree or higher in nursing.Essential Responsibilities Include: Candidates should have an interest in and the ability or potential to teach undergraduate BSN courses, as well as support a diverse student body.Demonstrated clinical competence in assigned practice area (e.g., med-surg, maternal-child, psych, etc.)At least 1 year of recent clinical experience in the relevant settingStrong communication, mentorship, and critical thinking skillsAvailability during assigned clinical days/shifts (weekdays, evenings, or weekends depending on need)Supervise and guide nursing students in clinical practice settings (e.g., hospitals, clinics, long-term care).Reinforce clinical skills, patient care practices, and professionalism in real-time environments.Ensure safe practice and support students' development of clinicalReport student progress and concerns to the supervisingCollaborate with faculty to facilitate optimal student learning and patientMaintain compliance with institutional and clinical siteOther duties as assignedHow to Apply:Interested applicants should submit an online application by clicking "Apply for this Position" .
