Nursery Hospitalist Physician Opportunity- Per Diem in Greenfield MA

Baystate Health is a not-for-profit, integrated healthcare system in western Massachusetts which consists of an academic medical center, Children's Hospital, three community hospitals and the region’s largest multispecialty group. Our flagship hospital, Baystate Medical Center, is home to the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School-Baystate.

Position Highlights

• Join our newborn hospitalist team at The Birthplace at Baystate Franklin Medical Center in Greenfield MA. Our team of pediatricians and nurse practitioners admit and care for all the newborns, attend deliveries as requested (high risk and c-sections), and manage sick newborns including stabilization until Baystate Medical Center NICU transport arrives.
• The Birthplace is a level I nursery which is the region’s only midwife-led service with ob backup for surgical interventions, handling approx. 325 births annually. The newborn hospitalist team serves as the resident experts on NRP and resuscitation.
• This is a per diem opportunity. The hourly rates are $110/hour for weekday days and evenings, and $125/hour for weekend days and evenings, all 7 nights, and holidays.
• Qualifications: ABMS BE/BC Pediatrics. NRP certification is required.
