An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and highly motivated Nursing Unit Manager (NUM) Level 2 to lead a dedicated and compassionate nursing team within our mental health rehabilitation service The service supports individuals experiencing a range of mental health conditions and physical health needs, with a strong focus on rehabilitation and enhancing quality of life.

What You'll Be Doing

You will provide clinical and operational direction to a committed nursing workforce, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care. You will be responsible for fostering a positive team culture, promoting evidence-based practice, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, you will ensure safe, effective, and coordinated care that supports consumers to achieve their recovery goals.

Candidates Will Need To Meet The Following Criteria

  • Registered Nurse-Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA) and Relevant management tertiary qualification or equivalent work experience, or a combination of study and work experience; and demonstrated commitment to professional development.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, manage and support a clinical team.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience in change management and initiating a new service delivery model within an established service.
  • Evidence of and commitment to patient/customer focussed care, clinical governance and quality improvement.
